Problems discussed in this article are sentence pattern information description of psychological adjectives and plans for their lexicographical description of Middle Korean dictionary.
The fact that, like Modern Korean, psychological adjectives of Middle korean was verified to have so called syntactical pluralism leads us to make a clear description on each sentence pattern. The thing to which we must give a careful attention is the fact that linguistical facts from corpus are quantitatively limited in describing sentence patterns of psychological adjectives of Middle korean. For example, a sentence in which only an Theme is appeared, possibility of 'omission of subject' must be considered.
For describing actual sentence patterns, I classified each adjective in some types, with examples like '저프다', '믭다', '뉘읏브다', '랍다' which are suggesting concrete description models. The adjective '저프다' bas basic models of 'NP이 Adj' and 'NP이 (NP이) Adj', which could be developed in diverse sentence patterns. Other adjective '믭다' has 'NP이 Adj' model and 'NP이 NP이 Adj' model as a basic sentence pattern. On the other side, adjective '늬읏브다' is verified from corpus when it appears with Experiencer-subject and, in the same way, adjective '랍다' with Theme-subject. Even though the reason of possibly existing blanks from sentence patterns with adjectives '믭다' and '뉘읏브다' could be small quantitative of corpus, only verified sentence patterns from real corpus could be stated in lexicographical works. These examples also indicate that descriptions of sentence patterns in archaism dictionary could be somehow unstable.
