Government must be responsive to the demand of its citizens, who are the customers in a knowledge information society. Since 1998 Ministry of Construction and Transportation has developed the Land Management Information System(LMIS) for developing successful strategy of the responsiveness of the public needs and efficient the land administration.
The purpose of this paper is to suggest the successful strategy for the responsiveness of the public needs for the land-related laws. To accomplish this, the methods of literature survey and questionnaire were used. The scope of this research deals with the local governments which have already constructed or now constructing LMIS. Followings are the major findings of this empirical research. First, the level of supply for the related land laws was very low as compared to the administration needs of the customers at the local government. Second, both quantities and qualities of the customers needs for the related-land laws have been steadily increased. As a result, the research indicates that most of those strategies needs to be computerized from the land-related laws.
