This research is aimed at looking into the difference in the propensity for the sensation seeking to demographic characteristics of the participants in golf for a gamble and inquiring into what effect of their disposition to pursue a sense has on them according to their inclination to gambling; as a result of the analysis of the collected data for this purpose, this research made a conclusion as follows: First, it revealed that males, in comparison with females, have more experiences in the factors of thrill, adventure, sensitivity to boredom and against-restraint. Second, a group in their twenties was found to experience in higher thrill and adventure factor than a group in their thirties and forties and even in sensitivity to boredom factor, a group in their twenties was revealed to experience a lot more than a group in their fifties.
Third, it was found that a group wagering less than 3 million won experienced in much higher sensitivity to boredom factor than a group wagering less than 5 million won.
Fourth, in thrill and adventure factor, groups which finish an 18-hole round in less than 75 strokes, 79 strokes and 80-89 strokes respectively were found to experience much more thrill and adventure factor than a group which stays at a level of more than 100 strokes; in against-restraint factors, the less-than-75 & 80-89 stroke group were found to experience more than the 90-99 & more-than-100 stroke group. Fifth, in the difference subsequent to an inclination to gambling, there appeared a significant difference statistically in four standards- experience-seeking factors, such as thrill, adventure, sensitivity to boredom, and against-restraint; in addition, a group having a strong inclination to gambling was found to experience a lot more in all 4 standards than a potential group and sociability group.
