This study is to provide effective spalling prevention method of high strength concrete attached with the stone panel applying lightweight foamed concrete. Light weight foamed concrete was fabricated based on a number of trial batches. And then, mechanical properties of the lightweight foamed concrete were investigated. According to test results, for the fluidity, it was increased in order of W/B and satisfied the target value except OPC 50 mixture. Sinking depth had lower value than that of KS code except OCL 40 mixture, and the foam proportions were similar to the sinking depth. Compressive strength showed decline tendency corresponding to decrease of the unit weight volume. The thermal conductivity was favorable when the unit weight volume and amount of particle were low. For the result of fire test, spalling did mot occur after 120∼140 minutes of fire test when the low density lightweight foamed concrete is used as fire endurance material to the space, 15∼30 ㎜, between the stone panel and concrete. In the sphere of the paper, for securing fire endurance capability of the high strength concrete attached with stone panel, it is necessary to apply lightweight foamed concrete with 0.45 ㎏/㎥ and 65 % of W/B based on OCL binder combination between the concrete and stone panel with thickness of 50 ㎜.
