The purpose of this study was to analysis the topics and methodology of family researches in journal of Korean Home Management Association. At the same time it is identifies several new research trend and major issues that emerge in reviews.
First, while it was decreased the topics on marriage and family values, it was increased the topics on family problem, familylife education and family welfare.
Second, The general increasing of family research have great prospect. There were various topics and methodology in family researches. These various topics and methodology will be made contribution to develop familylife education program.
Third, the great part of family researches was analysed by quantitative methodology. But gradually it is increased to analysis qualitatively for family studies.
Finally, we recognize that social and technological changes influence variant family structures, relationships, and values in different ways. In this connection, the research findings forcefully remind us of the topics for family problems and familylife education.
