Recently, apartment houses are getting power because of the necessity of the house to admit the management about resident's various requests and the advanced quality of life. However, there are some troubles because most apartment houses are divided into the bearing wall and there is a lack in variability and difficulty of repair or change if an equipment is filled the inside of the structure. As solutions of these problems, it can be favorable to easy security of installation and dissolution of Will or repair and maintenance when a component part of the apartment house is divided into the structure which takes charge of the physical durability and Infill which takes charge of variability. The apartment houses where variability of Infill are considered is necessary to meet requests of various users and need the performance-oriented design to make the durability of the joint, variability and easy maintenance.
In this study, therefore, after considering of performance and performance-oriented design of the apartment house through a case analysis in domestic and abroad apartment houses, the limits of and the required performance of Infill are set up. An occurrence part in the Infill joint and its required performance are analyzed. As a result, aims of this study is to show basic data for Infill joint's design guideline of the high durability Infill system.
