The apartments became old and outdated functionally as times went by the reconstruction business of an apartment became brisk in the late 1990s. But as the business caused environmental disruption and waste of resources, this was thought of a social problem. As one of the solutions for the problem, the discussion of remodeling has become active for the existing aged apartment. In spite of the specific system improvement, there is still difficulty on remodeling from expensive construction cost and insufficient related policy. At this point, the insurance of the parking lots are getting serious for aged apartment. The absolute shortage of parking space is causing a serious traffic jam in the apartment complexes. This paper focuses on suggesting a real remodeling method to expand parking lots without collapse of the present building. It analyzes validity of efficient parking lot expansion during residence by a) selecting a type of case b)analyzing construction method which is being considered safety, economical efficiency, construction possibility and space efficiency c)suggesting Skip Floor method which shows high space efficiency such as short lamp and is economical comparable to general basemen parking lots d)applying to existing apartment complex. A result of a study : The plan method that is skip-floor, facilities method is fanroomless, an execution method is top-down. It was derived that the cost is 22,000,000 per 1 parking lot.
