In this paper, we study a hybrid parallel method of the frequency-domain method and the first-order system least-squares method to solve parabolic partial differential equations.
First, using the fourier transform, a parabolic equation in the space-time domain is transformed to the elliptic equations in the space-frequency domain. Such elliptic equations are independent of each frequency.
