This article presents a literature review of evaluation and responsiveness of tourism resources and culture event.
The research methodology Incorporated the use of focus group and in depth interviews together With a quantitative survey of tourists visiting Kyongju Culture Expo. Tourist value have long been considered an important vanable for market segmentation.
Single value may be grouped on the basis of their importance rating into higher order value domain. and the differential weighting of these domains represents a degree of tourist' s value.
Evaluation of tourism resource serve to maintain tourist' s satisfaction and consistent behaviour in those situation where one or more value may be In conflict.
Regional culture event Increasingly IS used to enhance rural and regional economics. However, a number of key actors are involved in the process of developing this tourist industry that hold varying view points With regard to the viability of the industry. This study presents the results of usmg an attitudinal scale to survey tourist impact evaluation and comparison of the Kyongju World Culture Expo. The purpose of this study was to examine whether impact degree importance ratings differed across segments comprised of tourists homogeneously grouped on the basis of '98Expo and 2000Expo. The sample Included 298 sample. A Significant relationship was found between length of residency and attachment, but people living in the community with higher levels of tourism development have the shortest tenure In their community.
