The purposes of this study is an evaluation of festival tourism information by IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis). To satisfy the purpose of this study, to find out evaluation items of festival tourism information through the literature review. Data were collected at Gumsan Insam Festival. Of the 250 individuals who were given the questionnaire, 201 significant samples were collected.
The IPA result, The importance and performance is a difference to the festival visitor. Accessibility informations(traffic, parking place, shuttle bus, local tourism attractions) are perceived to be very important to respondents, but performance levels are fairly low. This suggests that improvement efforts should be concentrated here. A public performance and price of an excellent choice, image informations are perceived to be low important to respondents, but where performance is relative high. Festival managers consider present efforts on the attributes of this item as being superfluous. The importance-performance has according to age group difference partially.
It’s expected that results of this study would be useful when ameliorating management of festival tourism information.
