The aim of this study is to investigate a phonological system and its phonological traits at the Korean holograph letter book 'Letter and Funeral ode'(owned by Dongnae Jeong's Family). I also made an effort to investigate the dialectological traits of this Korean letter book and to investigate the value of Korean linguistic corpus. I want to investigate a goal of my this study by use of not only synchronic method but also diachronic method. The conclusion that I investigated in this thesis is as follows :
First, I investigated that this letter book has revealed the traits of sourthern Gyungpook dialect and the dialectic traits of from late in the 19th century to earlier in the 20th century.
Second, in case of fortis phenomena, positional assimilation of consonant, lateralization, nasalization deletion and addition of consonant, the linguistic features of this letter book are partially different from present this dialect, but another case of consonant phenomena they almost are agreed with present this dialect.
Third, the vowel organization which is reflected at this letter book is six vowel system, and this letter book has somewhat difference from this dialect in case of i-vowelization, front-vowelization, round-vowelization, umlaut pheonomena.
Fourth, I found out the example of length which was realized with tone as a suprasegmental feature at this letter book.
