The purpose of the study is not only to clarify the process of the architectural design concept made by the established architects but also to investigate the meaning of specifying the Architectural design concept and problems through the case studies in the Turn-key design competition which already have been finished. Moreover, on the basis of these analysis, I'd like to provide the basic information which might be helpful to specify the way to make the concept design of the Turn-key process.
This study directs the attention to the Keyword of architectural concept in Turn-key projects completed in 2001 to 2006.
As the result of the research, the architectural concept is classified into concept keyword, project keyword, massing concept, and the distinctions of each divisions are classified by typology. This research is to provide a reference of the fundamental framework initiating the architectural concept during the process of Turn-key design.
