This study was to consider the tasks and development strategy of marine leisure sports industry. And we obtained the results as follows through the survey on the literatures, documents and records on the marine leisure sports.
1. The reality of marine leisure sports industry was still very labor-intensive, had lack of stability of demands, and showed the lower participation of large enterprise.
2. The obstacles in development of marine leisure sports industry were small-scale business, incomplete specialization of business areas, unpreparedness of industrial assist system, lack of marketing experts and insufficience of ability of information collection.
3. Questions pending of marine leisure sports industry required the improvement of educational conditions on the marine sports, active development of water pront, the solution of safety problem, and groping of insurance system.
4. As a strategy of marine leisure sports industry, We should utilize diverse resources and environment traits into marine recreation activity. And consideration facts in planning should be scientific survey, high-quality facility, recommand of natural environment, ecology, and social sights.
