The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between the leisure attitude and life satisfaction in reference to the leisure constraints from college students.
We used an intensive survey questionnaire as the research tool in this study. Subjects of the study were 400 students who random sampled from university in seoul. Statistical methods such as t-test, on-way ANOVA, simple regression analysis. On the basis of the results analyzed, the conclusions were drawn as follows;
First, in reference to the constraints and attitude for leisure and difference in life satisfaction level according to different sexes, females showed a higher level of leisure constraints than male comparisons. There was a significant difference in the leisure constraints between gender.
Second, in reference to the constraints level according to different grade, level of leisure constraints in 3rd year sequence and leisure attitude was presented in 1st year sequence while the level of satisfaction was presented in 4th year sequence. There was not a significant difference in the leisure constraints, attitude and life satisfaction between academic year.
Third, after examining the relationship between leisure constraints and leisure attitude which is considered a lower element of the leisure constraints factor, was shown to effect ones attitude towards leisure activities. Interior and structural constraints factors also influence a similar effect on the level of leisure attitude.
Fourth, after examining the relationship between ones attitude towards leisure and the level of life satisfaction, Leisure attitude had a meaningful influence on ones level of life satisfaction.
