The purpose of this study was the comparison of the differences on the Aerobic capacity and ECG-ST level between college women and college women taekwondo players. The subject underwent Balke protocol exercise test on the treadmill. The assessment of Aerobic capacity was on VO₂ max, AT-VO₂ , MVO₂, HRmax, PSBP, ECG-V5 ST level. Tests was performed on the Quinton autogas analyser.
The results of this study were as follows
1. VO₂ max of the women taekwondo players(50.4±4.44㎖/㎏/min) were higher than the college women's(45.7 ±5.53㎖/㎏/min) There were not significant differences(P< .05)
2. AT-VO₂ of the women taekwondo players(37.6±4.79㎖/㎏/min) were higher than the college women's(30.4±3.59㎖/㎏/min) There were not significant differences.(P<.05)
3. HRmax of the taekwondo players (193.3±7.23beats/min) were higher than the college women's(186.5±8.22beats/min) There were not significant differences(p< .05)
4. PSBP of the taekwondo players(187.7±10.22㎜Hg)were lower than the college women's(190.4±12.11㎜Hg) There were not significant differences(P< .05)
5. MVO₂ of the taekwondo players(36.2±2.4㎜Hg.bpm.10³)were higher than the college women's(35.5±0.9㎜Hg.bpm10³) There were not significant differences(P< .05)
6. The ECG-V5 ST level of college women(1.09±0.03㎜ Rest, 0.44±0.01㎜ Max) were depressed compare to the women taekwondo players(0.25±0.02㎜ Rest, 0.26±0.02㎜ Max) There were not significant difference between during and after exercise at the ECG-V5 ST level of women taekwondo players.
