The objective of this research is (1)to assess instrumentation efficiency in 800 meter running test, 1,600 meter running test, 3,200 meter running test, 9 minute running test, and 12minute running test and (2) to analyze the difference in instrumentation efficiency while measuring maximal oxygen uptake of both male and female taekwondo athletes. Evaluation of maximal oxygen uptake for 45 collage students-30 of them are boys and 15 of them are girls-were assessed using 800 meter running test, meter running test, 3200 meter running, 9 minute running test, and 12 minute running test and Bruce's tread mill. The maximal oxygen uptake, measured by Bruce's tread mill, was used as the maximal oxygen uptake for analysis. Maximal oxygen uptake is a efficient and standard variable and other measured variables are predicted items. pearson's sight draft of caculation is analyze to connection. Conclusions of Pielson's research were as follows:
1. Instrumentation efficiency in maximal oxygen consumption measurement for a male taekwondo athlete is the greatest in 12 minute running test.(r=0.64).
2. Instrumentation efficiency in maximal oxygen consumption measurement for a female taekwondo athlete is the greatest in 12 minute running test.(r=0.64) And the following is in 12 minute running test.(r=0.71)
3. Instrumentation efficiency in the actual maximal oxygen consumption measurement formale taekwondo athlete and that for female taekwondo athlete are different from each other. For the instrumentation of maximal oxygen uptake, 12 minute running test for male and 9 minute running test for female should be chosen respectively.
