This article is for clarifying and examining the meaning of Beak-suk's poetry that was made by the character of objects and the subject revealed in his text through focusing Beak-suk's metonymical creation principle.
Poetry of Baek-suk is created through the metonymic juxtaposition of objects and the instantaneous connection of time and space. Because of this matter, objects can be a being that maintains their own characteristic. Moreover, the subject that watches the objects has anti-perspective sight without any violence of lyrical self. Through this reason, the subject is not to construct the meaning and not to make the artificial world but to create the horizontal relationship with objects. 'Home town', the representation of poetry of Baek-suk is the world that is created from the existence of the subject and the objects and also from their relationship. The relationship between the subject and objects is represented through the special mimesis attitude such as the devenir-enfant and ontological imitation. Through all of this, 'hometown' can be not only the world of likeness but also the space of devenir. The poetry of Baek-suk is the world that all existences including human can be harmonized each other and it shows analogical correspondence that is reconciliated each other without excluding opposition. The value of Baek-suk's poetry is that all existence in his poetry is not restored to be the identical one but show the progress up to the maximum value of mutual similarity. In this world, the subject as well as objects can get along without loosing their own characteristic. therefore, the identity which is shown in the poetry of Baek-suk is the identity which as no any violence and Baek-suk realizes the possibility of cosmical brotherliness through the analogical correspondence in his poetry.
