The Purpose of this study was to suggest the more efficient management system through the sense of managers in urban park. The personnel working for the parks in Seoul, Pusan and Taegu were surveyed.
According to the satisfaction factors, in the field of plants maintenance, "regular - maintenance of tree", "factor except tree - maintenance", and "planting" were regarded as important factors, in the field of facilities maintenance, "reorganization" and "regular maintenance", in the field of user control, "plan of use service" and "use convenience", and in the field of management "management system", "management plan", "material resources", and "resources management". Total variance were obtained 50.1%, 56.9%. 62.1%. 62.7% respectively.
According to the estimated model of satisfaction by FACTOR SCORE, in the field of plants maintenance, "factor except tree - maintenance", "regular - maintenance of tree", and "filling - up of tree" had influenced to the satisfaction. in the field of facilities - maintenance, "regular - maintenance", and "reorganization", in the field of user control "plan of use service", and "use convenience", in the field of managemental maintenance "management system", "management plan", and "material resources".
In the field of management, as a whole, "management system", "management plan", "material resources", "resources management", "use convenience", and "reorganization" had influenced to the satisfaction. Coefficient of determination (Rsquare) were obtained 0.40, 0.67, 0.34, 0.65, 0.54 respectively.
The managers were somewhat satisfied to plants maintenance and facilities maintenance, but the elements of user control didn't work well because of the lack of perceving degree and knowledge of the manager. The managemental elements were so important that much investment had to be given to the part of user control and management.
