The purpose of this research is to propose the character of non-standard in the digital architecture. New digital processes make non-standard architectures possible for the first time. But we also find inspiration in new uses, effects and concepts. The notion of non-standard is to a large extent mediated through Deleuze and his most prominent interpreters in the field.
The research analyzes that the logic of non-standard and Deleuzian models and concepts that architects have attempted to signify spatially, structurally, and organizationally are the smooth and the striated, becoming animal, the diagram, and the fold. The researcher comes to search the following three design tendencies of digital architecture based in the logic of non - standard.
First, digital architecture is characterized by logical potentiality with architectural logic and computation in the architectural design. Second, digital architecture is characterized by diagrammatic design technique as a response to the new forms of information with mediation and hybridization. Third, digital architecture is characterized by changes in the production process, architecture and associativity.
