Recently due to the requirement for multimedia-lecture room in the university according to the change of studying environment, though many of large-scaled general lecture rooms are being under reformation, there has not been grasped of the Acoustic characteristics regarding to that. Therefore, in this study the acoustic characteristics have been compared as well as analyzed on the objects of 5 multimedia-lecture rooms that renovated from the general lecture rooms, and it is considered that such data could be utilized well as the useful materials when the general lecture room is convert for renovation designing to the multimedia-lecture room in the future.
Viewing of the conclusion through the experiment, as the reverberation time at each of all multimedia-lecture rooms appears as shorter than a second, it was appraised as suitable for lecture, also in D?? and RASTI, the index of definition it was satisfactorily evaluated as fits for the standard, it is regarded as all of the acoustic appraisal indexes have been improved to a satisfiable acoustic condition for lecture. Accordingly, it is considered that the studying familiarity and the teaching efficiency could be improved if the existing large-scaled general lecture rooms are renovated to multimedia-lecture rooms.
