On the premise that the experience of making tales related with a stimulus of imagination, some narratives are made by some university student utilizing the tiger tale. In this thesis, the relationship between the stories made by students and the tiger tale, and then, the significance of making the tiger tale are investigated. The results are as follows.
In the first place, it is confirmed that the stories made by the student and the tiger tale are agreed each other. Among the stories, there were coincidental works with three types of the tiger tales; the mischievous tiger, the awakened tiger, and the hero tiger. It means that the tiger tale, as an archetypal narratives, has influenced on the making stories by the students. The tiger tale, participating in the making stories by student, stimulates the students' imagination, and futhermore, helps them spread wings of imagination. That the tiger tale is to be an archetype in making narratives means that it helps them, very usefully, to improve their imagination. In the today’s situation that the ability to create a voluntary and a visioned image perishes, if the tiger tale is echoed in students' heart, it can help students to have an opened eyesight.
In the second place, the meaning or importance of making tiger stories are researched. The stories of the students over the age of twenties is same, or not different from each other. Their stories have three types; he mischievous tiger, the awakened tiger, and the hero tiger. At the developmental psychology, these three types are researched. Making this point of view as a clue, the meaning or significance that the students make a tale is researched. The significance of students' making the mischievous tiger tale is that they have a courage to meet and accept their inner unidentified energy. And also, they have a volution to face some changes for their future actively and voluntarily, more important, with no dread. The significance of students' making the awakened hero tiger is that they experiences the spiritual passage rite gone through necessarily in the course of rebirth in a psychologic meaning. The significance of making the hero tiger is that the youth experiences preliminary passage rite at the course of self-realization which they should carry on.
