In this paper, a numerical procedure for the calculation of incompressible Navier-Stokes equations is proposed and its usability is validated through the calculation of two test problems. The present numerical procedure uses covariant velocity components as dependent variables and formulations of discretization equations are made on the regular grid formation. The possibility of the formation of checker-board pattern pressure field on the regular grid formation is prevented by using the so called pressure substitution method. The pressure substitutiuon method originally developed by Hobson et al. for the prediction of two dimensional flows is extended to the calculation of three dimensional nows. The three-dimensional cavity now and the 90° bend rectangular duct flow are chosen as two test problems. Comparison of present solutions with previous numerical solutions confirms the usability of the present numerical procedure.
