Buddhist verse is the type that buddhist monk and the general public hold in common. It is deliquescence of idea between buddhist and public. It is added ethnic faith and public buddhism and reflected transmigrationism of downward public.
'Hoi-shim gok' is buddhist verse that teaching of low-people and public transmigrationism are expressed very well. I studied character of ethnic buddhism and transmigrationism refer to them.
In the aspect of religious literature, the ideas of buddhist verse can be classified into three groups.
a) Pure religional thought is expressed without writer's subjectivity comparatively. this is base thought of transmigrationism; punitive in principle of transmigrationism, uncertainty of present age and paradise of future existence.
b) It is thought in private response from religion; the zen-buddhist meditation and pledge.
c) It is also presented with social propensity and ideal presentation. 'Hoi-shim gok' is almost a) type and c) type is interperenced to be continuous with transmigrationism.
We can divide transmigrationism of 'Hoi-shim gok' with four steps - birth, live, death, future existence. Birth is stressed by filial piety. Live is stressed by uncertainty of present age. Death is stressed by fate. future existence is stressed by punitive.
Whole flow of four steps are transmigrationism. But in behind of transmigrationism, construction of 'Hoi-shim gok' is going to the future.
