In the 21st century, China has become a second largest energy-consumed country, with the rapid development of the economy. The scientists are all along obsessed by the problem of and between energy and environment resulted from energy consumption and misusing. Terrorism and international social and political turbulence affect the supply of oil and threaten the security of oil supply. China is facing the great challenge in order to meet the requirement of sustainable energy supply.
According to the predications of energy strate experts, the electricity demand will increase by 20 percents; oil demand will amount up to 430 million tones for the reason of industrialization and urbanization by 2020. In order to meet such requirement, that means a great amount of the project of the construction of the energy and power needs to be carried out, simultaneously the capacity of the electrical networks must be enlarged greatly in the latest 20 years, as same as the electrical networks capacity-enlarged quantity of American in the past fifty years.
Renewable energy power, such as wind energy and solar energy and others, should be exploited and developed reasonably and actively in China. The structure of energy supply diversification is the unique and ideal choice for Chinese energy supply at present.
