In specific situation of Korea that became the colony at same time as were the base of the war, the war was to move by the justification to speak for this with the logic of the control. At least, it made a reason which makes the race and the nation refer continuously. To be connected for an anarchism movement with independent movement of the arms uprising is the limit and is the characteristics of the period.
In any aspect, Shin Chae Ho's literature works and his thoughts of the anarchism followed the logic of the japanese imperialism. The peace setup through the war as terror that based on Shin Chae Ho's thought very much resembled a closed nationalism, ultra-nationalism and a fascism resist. It shows what is the discourse feature of the period, even if people could not think the word freedom, of the colony.
But, Korean society were put in political and cultural situation to be changed through before and after the restoration of independence and after Korean-war. Korea society faced with an imperialism setup that in more skillful neo-colonialism period as it is called. In such cultural environment, the reason which the Jang Yong Hag's novel tried to protect the autonomy and the absolute freedom of the individual stays a value respect of the individual which is sacrificed at the purpose which is the people nation formation and at the longing about the peace as the coexistence not to be the retaliation. In fact, the legend of a circle(written by Jang Yong Hag) is faithfully representing the ultimate purpose of the anarchism that the absolute freedom of the individual and the course to realize it. Such feature is engaged with ultimate meaning of anarchism that the thing of an individual anarchism which pursued the autonomy of the individual and the intention of absolute freedom. It might be a side that is different from the anarchism character of the Shin Chae Ho's novel which is in the period of the colony.
In hostory of Korean Literature, The severe fight of the dragon versus dragon(written by Shin Chae Ho)and The legend of a circle(written by Jang Yong Hag) could be important examples which shows how the problem of the individual, group and nation is changed in Literal discourse according to the difference of the period despite of the heterogeneity of the times and the literature.
Especially, it is a important meaning that Jang Yong Hag's novel is maintaining the anticonstructivism viewpoint, which is the problem of the individual does not resolve simply to the nationalism, firmly.
