In this paper, the input amplifier for high speed digital data communications are studied.
In this study, it is realized that the trans-impedance method of the high speed digital communications are suitable for the optical input amplifier.
A methodology for the disign of the input amplifier for the optical receiver was set and designed.
The amplifier was experimented and found that the trans-impedance was 10 K ohm in average in 45 Mbps signals.
The experimental results were a good agreement with theoretical approximations and it seems good for practical use.
