Architecture links business with IT and ensures the interoperability of information systems(IS). Architecture should be considered for estimating IS level in that architecture attributes influence the level. Although various architecture methodologies have been developed, there are rarely the detail design procedures and artifacts of architecture availably referred by constructors. Under this situation, it will help constructors greatly to set up their architectures to adopt systematic design approach guaranteing the traceability and completeness of construction business architecture. As for the approach, the study presents the procedure combining Systems Engineering(SE) design process with three architecture attributes: 1) operation view, 2) system view, 3) technical view. A case architecture has been designed and its quality attribute appraised in order to verify the utility of the procedure, which indicates that other construction business processes are also worthy of being architected using the presented procedure.
