This study aims at suggesting strategic devices in order to introduce and apply integrated coastal management which is called as the innovation of recent global ocean and coastal economy as a method of improving development-management of the ports and coastal areas in Korea.
And this paper aims at assisting our coastal areas to establish strategies to guarantee competitiveness as a main international ocean country by analyzing synthetically the facts disclosed through the emprical analysis on management and utilization of the international level of the authorities and firms of our nation. grasping exactly the problems faced in the field of integrated coastal management and suggesting the alternatives to these problems, on the basis of the theoretical arrangement on the coastal management.
(1) Problems resulted from environment conservation of nature in case of introducing and applying of the integrated coastal management in Korea with which main ocean countries faced.
(2) Problems occurring in case of measuring environment conservation of nature with integrated coastal management.
(3) Problems occurring in adapted case of zoning system which is how to introduce with integrated coastal management.
(4) Problems occurring in introduced case of integrated coastal management which is how to device of the zoning.
(5) Problems occurring in case of the zoning which is how to measuring in details.
