Concerning the study and description of Korean Protestant history, we will observe its historical views, contents, period division, sources, and methods. After this analysis, well adjust some questionable tasks through the form 'the proposal descriptive paradigm shift.' First, the study of Korean Protestant history has been concerned relatively much about historical view and methodology. However, it actually has plenty of room to reargue not only in the understanding and application of the historical view but also in the consistent description based on it. Second, It is not difficult to find the fact that a greater part of later general history, partial history, and periodic history, including Lmk-June George Paik's study, where the period is limited, overlaps and is limited to Kyoung-Bae Min's study of general history, where the study and description 1970' s was begun. Third, It is found that the division of time in the study of church history, which excessively depends on the stream of Korean history, has been often applied. Fourth, it is on the matter of sources, and the amplification of sources is clearly perceived according to the period of study. Fifth, In the end, my own investigation results in the possible suggestion to the study of the Korean Protestant history on the whole emphasizing 'culture' or 'ecumenism' concerning 'the historical view' or 'the theme' and 'spirituality' or 'history of theological thought' concerning 'classification' or 'field.'
