This study is researched from January to september in 2002. In this research the number of people who demand a formal trial for a divorce are one hundred and eighteen and among them the thirties take up 56% and the number of them
are 65.
The results of analysis are as follows;
I. In the choice of bnnging up children, age, the number of chIldren and sex
among mother's character variables show statistically sigmflcant results m mcome level, reason of divorce, health conditIon, wealth after divorce, fostermg
expenses.
2. The relation between the income and wealth level of mother and the choice of bringing up children IS very close.
3. Fostering expenses that can be taken from father are over three hundred
thousand won and they take up 69.6% of applicants for divorce.
