The development of modern physics during the 20th century open a completely new understanding of the physical world. One of the key points a such understanding is shift from a notion of absolute space and particle oriented thinking to so called field theory which is the understanding the physical world not as composition of physical objects but as energy phenomena between the realm of feel that including both space and material as run interacting energy system.
This paper asks whether such change have something to do with the understanding of architecture. Traditionally the approach of architecture have been based on the side of absolute space and particle object. The introduction of field theory in physics imply the possibility of application of field theory in architecture as well. According to the field theory new view point in understanding architecture should be possible. The followings could be included as a few main points;
① The architecture could not separate with the particle and the space, but the characteristic of it could explain with the property revealed through the interaction of all things within the field. And that is the substance of real architecture.
② Interaction is based on the reaction of the objects, and compensated each other like nature do.
③ We can suggest 'the architectural field' in which the architecture is defined and interpretated. And also the field concept used to not only the method of evaluation but also design in architecture.
