This is an additional study of textual problems to "A Textual Criticism of Chung Hung's Shih p'in", this writer's previous paper published in Vols. 6 & 7 of this Journal (1960~61). This paper is devoted entirely to the textual study of the Shih p'in text in the Yin-ch'uang Tsa-lu edited by Ch'en Ying-hsing(陳應行). The text of Yin-ch'uang Tsa-lu used in this paper is the Ming edition published in 1561, a copy of which is now preserved in the Naikaku bunko(內閣文庫), Tokyo, Japan.
As the Shih P'in text in the Yin-ch'uang Tsa-lu is extremely simplified and contains too many textual corruptions and mistakes, its textual lineage is hardly traceable. The text has noticeable similarities to those quoted parts of Shin p'in in the Bunkyo hifuron(문경비부론), T'ai-p'in Yu-lan(태평어람), and Shin-jen Yu-hsieh, all of which have apparent difference from ordinary Shih p'in texts. The Shih p'in text originally used by the editor of Yin-ch'uang Tsa-lu is probably the same edition that was used by the editors of the above three books.
The Shih P'in text of Yin-ch'uang Tsa-lu, although simplified and corrupted, preserves a considerable number of enlightening evidences for recovering the correct text of Chung Hung's Shih P'in. This writer uses the I-men kuang-tu as the basic text, presents textual differences extensively, and gives judgements or explanations to all of the textual problems raised.
