In general, two different methods has been used
for estimating dynamic analysis on buildings.
They are refered to as time-history(time-domain)
response analysis and frequency domain response
analysis(it may be called spectral modal method).
This paper deals with the time-history response
of building subjected to time-history wind velocity.
The structural behavior is limited to the buffeting
vibration along the wind direction. The applied method,
which calculate time-history response of displacement and
acceleration for building, is direct integration analysis
based on the time-history of wind velocity which has been
measured on weather observation station.
To recognize the property of results for time-history
response, it can be shown that the maximum displacement
between time-history response calculated by direct
integration analysis is compared to that value calculated
by spectral modal analysis.
