The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Column
Transverse Confinements Beam-Column Joints with High Strength
Concrete up to 800kg/cm2. 6 specimens were tested under reversed
cyclic loadings.
The primary variables were the number of transverse confinements,
compressive strength and loading patterns.
The results showed that present design recommendation for transverse
reinforcement could be safely used for high strength concrete beam
-column joint when flexural strength ratio is 1.4.
