In this study, the plastic torsional analysis of H-shape steel
beams has been proceeded. The formulation can be applied to an
nonsymmetric cross section and various section properties along
the member length with simple technique using transformation
equations. The analysis includes several important material
nonlinear effects such as strain hardening, residual stress,
gradual penetration of yielding through cross section and spreading
of plastic zone along the member length.
