This study is aimed for the analyzing of mechanical properties in
steel fiber reinforced mortar.
The experimental parameters are the aspect ratio and amount of
steel fiber.
From the experimental investigation, the major conclusion was
drawn as follows.
1) In proportion to the largeness of aspect ratio and amount of
steel fiber, the workability of steel fiber mortar is worse but
the tensile, compressive and flexural strength of it are increassed.
2) From the results of this experiment, the recommendable ranges of
steel fiber are that the aspect ratio is 100 and the amount is 1
0/vl more or less.
In that case, the compressive strength is 10%, tensile is 30% and
flexural is about 30% higher than that of plain mortar.
