The quailty management plays a great role to increase the
profits through the productivity improvement. The quality
management requires its own cost. It is important to forecast
the quality management cost before construction to establish
the quality plan. However, it is not easy to determine the
level of quality management cost because of generic
properties of the construction project such as a single
unit production, a long term project delivery and the instable
construction environment. The purpose of this study is to
establish a forecasting model of the quality management
cost for the construction project through defining the
quality management activities and the related cost items
during the construction process.
