This study aims to find out how to establish a pleasant IAQ after checking out & solving the
problems of occupant environment. This study aimed to invertigate to indoor air quality of
downtown-local highrise housing in Seoul and Tokyo. For the purpose, three housing unit and
fanilies were sampled in each city. Temperature, Humidity, Air velocity, CO2 gas, CO2 gas, CO gas,
Dust concentration, Formaldehyde were measured and subjective response were questioned.
Measured results at K1, K2, K3, residence district in Seoul Korea execeeds to the limitation, it is
critical for Indoor Air pollution in Seoul. But the results measured in Tokyo reads out in the limitation
and show IAQ there is more pleasant than is Seoul.
