In this study, CAD templates based on ergonomic data were framed
and introduced into CAD system. The ergonomic data adopted in this
study is one of the fundamental data in the architectural design,
the computerization and the introduction to the CAD of these data
can serve the computerization of architectural design.
In other words It makes designer to consider ergonomic data in CAD
environment, and we can say it a part of real meaning of
computerization, and can be a principle in entire design process.
In this study, firstly, 7 types of human tamplates were framed
according to the standard physical coundition of the Korean,
secondly, 3 types of ergonomic domain templates were developed,
and thirdly the pointer templates according to the anthropometric
data.
They are integrated into the ergonomic data template system.
And they are introduced into the CAD system as a system through
the development of the user menu system.
Finally the system was applied to evaluate the Office
space layout for examine its efficiency and utility in design.
