Architects hardle the large information and its
analysis, synthesis and evaluation fall heavily burden
on the architects. Spatial synthesis in architecture
is the basic method to solve this problem. For this
purpose, the circulation and relationship of
architectural inner space was changed to measurable
and numerical status. The CRAFT method, which is one
method of spatial synthesis, constructs optimum
arrangements in intial coded plan and minimizes the
circulation cost and relationships. For the case study,
the OPD and D/T of 500 bed general hospital was
executed by CRAFT.
